Albert Washington, Jr. was born December 1, 1943, to the late Albert Washington, Sr. and Margaret Brooks, in Sabine County, Texas. He was the youngest of five children.

He graduated from Bryant High School in Pineland, Texas, in 1962. Upon graduation, he attended Barber School in East Texas. Upon completing Barber School, he returned to Pineland and began his career at Temple Inland Corporation. Upon retiring from Temple Inland, he worked at Jasper ISD for several years until his final retirement.

Albert Jr. was blessed with a loving and devoted family. He met his loving wife, Dorothy Garrett, and they wed on March 26, 1966. They were blessed with two amazing children, Wanda and Juan.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Albert and Margaret Washington, his brother, Charles Washington, and sisters, Atra Garner Flemons and Earnestine Hunter.

He is survived by his wife Dorothy Washington, children Wanda Washington and Juan Washington, his granddaughter Jasmine Washington, and brothers Sammie Washington and Hubert Washington. And a host of other relatives and friends.
