Alvin Dean was born June 30, 1955, to Woody and Betty Seastrunk in Jasper, Texas. He attended Pittsfield High School in Pittsfield, Massachusetts where he enlisted into the United States Army. While serving in Army, Alvin
Dean married Sylvia Sims.
To this union was born one son, Alvin Dean Jr. After honorable completion of service to his country, Alvin
Dean returned to Jasper, Texas where he began driving tractor-trailer trucks for more than 25 years. During
this time, Alvin Dean met and married Emma Adams and had one daughter, Kelly.
Alvin Dean loved to travel and cook. He was known for his sense of humor and living life on his own terms.

He was preceded in death by his father, Woody Seastrunk and granddaughter, Briana Pettijohn.

He leaves to cherish his memory four daughters, Jeanine Pettijohn, Anja Plaumann, Kelly Jaco, and JaKole Adams. He leaves two sons, Alvin Dean, Jr. (Zamora), and Jason Moody. He also leaves his mother, Betty Sue Hunter;
sister, Yvonne Chapman (Quincy); and brother, Elvis Seastrunk. He also leaves nine grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and a host of aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
