Andrew Jarece Atwater was born on November 15, 1986, at Fort Polk, Louisiana, to Ronnie Atwater and Shirley Atwater. Andrew was raised in the New Testament Apostolic Holiness Church under the leadership of the late Pastor Leon Anderson, where he developed the faith and values that guided his life. He attended South Beauregard Elementary School and later Burkeville Jr./Senior High School. In 2001, Andrew earned recognition as a member of a state championship team, an accomplishment that brought great pride to his family and community.

Andrew was known for his humble spirit, gentle nature, and kind heart. He was the kind of person who found it difficult to tell anyone "no" because he was always willing to lend a helping hand. He enjoyed taking long walks to the store and spending time with his beloved furry companions—Lady, Gideon, and Cinnamon—who brought him great joy and comfort. Andrew leaves to mourn his father, Ronnie Atwater (Brenda) of Longville, Louisiana; mother, Shirley Seastrunk; brothers, Matthew Atwater and Jeremy Atwater, both of Spring, Texas; nephew, Ja'Dore Atwater; and a host of loving uncles, aunts, cousins, other relatives, and dear friends.

Andrew's gentle spirit, caring heart, and quiet strength will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. Though his time with us was far too short, the love he shared and the kindness he showed will forever remain in the hearts of those whose lives he touched.
