Annie Bernice Brooks was born on January 11, 1926 to the late Pete and Edna Morris. Berniece was raised and educated in the Farrsville Community. She joined the Pleasant Hill CME Church at an early age.

Bernice met and married Ollie B. Brooks and to this union 10 children were born. Bernice was preceded in death by her parents, one sone and two daughters.

Bernice departed this life on October 3, 2019 at her home.

Bernice leaves to cherish her memories; one sister, Mamie Cheatham Smith of Arlington, Texas and her children, Annie Brooks of Arlington, Texas; Curtis Brooks of Fort Worth, Texas; Walter Brooks of Leesville, La.; Lawerence (Phyllis) Brooks of Burkeville, Texas; Edna Wysinger, Gerald Brooks and Vera Brooks of Newton, Texas; one son-in-law, Raymond Graham of Houston, Texas; two nieces, Joyce Neely of Chicago, Illinois and Melissa Cheatham Farr of Arlington, Texas and a host of grandchildren, cousins and friends.
