The Lord sustains him on his sickbed; in his illness you restore him to full health.

Anthony Earl Cooper, was born October 19, 1954, to Melvin, and Juanita Brooks. He departed this life on February 25, 2025, in Woodville, Texas.

He was raised in Brookeland, Texas. He received his education at Brookeland I.S.D. He loved to fish and play dominoes. He was united in holy matrimony to Evelyn Cooper on August 27, 2004. He was affectionately called Uncle Paw Paw by his children and grandchildren. He will be greatly missed by all.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Melvin and Juanita Brooks, brothers, Mack Cooper, Melvin Brooks and Andrew Brooks; sisters, Sabrina Brooks and Patricia Hobson; daughter, ChaQuetha Tims Reed; and great-grandson Kaceon Hadnot.

He leaves to cherish his memory: his wife: Evelyn Cooper, two sons; Marcus Brooks and Kenneth Davis; three daughters: Tabatha Payne, Nicole Bosley and Jasmine Joiner; four brothers, Craig Hunt, Weldon Brooks, Robert (Kathy) Brooks and Allen Brooks; one sister, Lisa (Jeff) Young; grandsons, JaCorey Spearman (aka Chocolate), Kendravious Bosley, KeShawndric Bosley, Devonte Lockwood and Desterein Ohara; granddaughters, DeShala O'Hara, DeMarriya Tims, and DeNequa McCoy and Kailee Davis, a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
