Audrey May King Verdine was born on March 14, 1950, in San Augustine County to the late Rose Coleman and Polly King.
Audrey worked in the housekeeping field throughout her life. She was a people's person and never met a stranger. She loved music and loved to entertain.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Rose Coleman and Polly King, and brother, Johnny King.

Audrey leaves to cherish her memories: her brothers and sisters, James King of Beaumont, Texas, Raymond King of Sugar Land, Texas, Reabie Walker of Beaumont, Texas, and Loraine Benson of Dallas, Texas; and a
