Call
Life of Precious Memories Benina Loftin Ford, 89, passed Wednesday, September 30, 2020. Benina was born January 2, 1931, in Beach Grove, Texas, to Robert and Lottie Loftin. She attended school in Call, Texas.
Benina was a hard worker; she cleaned many homes for various people. In later years, she was employed by Texas Home Health.
March of 1948, Benina married the love of her life, Lonell Ford. Together, they were blessed with 11 children. Benina was a wonderful mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.
She started her early life at the CME Church in Call, Texas. She later moved her membership to Antioch Baptist Church in Call, Texas. She served as an Eastern Star for years, sung with the Antioch Spirtualettes, worked faithfully on the usher board, served as the President until her health failed her, and then served as President Emeritus.
She was one of the best cooks in Call, Texas. She opened her home to everyone, no matter what race. She was not judgmental; she was a child of God.
