Obituary Bernice Adams Wysinger was born on August 3, 1937, in Jasper, TX to the union of Elisha Adams Sr. and Florence Grigsby Adams. She was the tenth child born of twelve children.

Bernice was baptized at an early age at the North Main Street Church of Christ (currently Westside Church of Christ) in Jasper, Tx, and was a faithful member. Bernice attended J.H. Rowe School in Jasper, Tx. She later met and married O.K. "Bokay" Wysinger on October 8, 1955. To this union nine children was born. Bernice was very grateful and proud to be a 53 year cancer survivor. She loved being surrounded by family and friends and always described the time spent as a "Great Time". Bernice was a devoted sister, wife, mother, grandmother, aunt and friend.

Bernice departed this life on June 24, 2023. Proceeding her in death was her husband of 63 years, O.K. Wysinger, two children Neal Wysinger and Tina Wysinger, one infant grandson Rendell Cauley, four sisters Anna Bell Mays, Fayetta Lewis, Parthener Mays, and Mary Mays, six brothers Wilmer "Abe" Adams, K.P. Adams, Elbert Adams, J. Harvey Adams, Elisha "Hut" Adams Jr., Willie Lee Adams and one daughter-in-law Karen Green Wysinger.

Bernice leaves to cherish in her memories one sister Imogene Adams Hadnot of Jasper, Tx, three daughters Brenda Cauley (Ronnie) of Spring, TX, Linda Ricks(Ronald) and Sonya Wysinger both of Missouri City, TX, four sons Robert Wysinger (Monique) and Jessie Wysinger both of Jasper, TX, Jackie Wysinger (Michelle) and William Wysinger (Marva) both of Pearland, TX. One brother-in-law R.C.(Jeannette) Wysinger of Houston, TX; special nieces, Lillie Bell Cauley, Barbara Ann White, Katie Faye Williams, and Magaline "Maggie" Williams; special nephews, Wilma Ray Adams, Ray Charles Lewis and Willie White, 26 grandchildren, 41 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great grandchild and a host of relatives and friends.
