On March 29, 2025, God looked over His flowers on earth and picked a tired, deserving servant whose job He noticed was well done in Bille Sue Seastrunk Cade. She was the youngest of two children born to the late Albert and Vona Armstrong Seastrunk on July 26, 1936. Her oldest brother, Dr. D. H. Seastrunk (Vernice), preceded her in death.

She was a native of Huntington, Texas, until 1960. She moved to Jasper, Texas, and married the late Willie Morris Cade, Sr.

She attended elementary school in Huntington, Texas, and graduated from Dunbar Junior and Senior High School in Lufkin, Texas. She continued her education and graduated from Prairie View A&M University with a Bachelor's degree in Home Economics. Billie Sue was one of a kind and a jewel to so many. Everybody knew her doors were always open. She worked diligently to take care of her family. There was no limit to the love she shared.

She was preceded in death by her one daughter, Andrea R. Cade; and one son, Willie M. Cade, Jr.

She leaves to cherish her memory: her one son, Craig A. Seastrunk (Daphne) of Tenaha, TX; four grandchildren, Sparkle S. Beamon (Nicolas) and Isaiah G. Seastrunk, both of Beaumont, TX, Starla S. Seastrunk of Houston, TX, and Devonte Cade of Ft. Worth, TX; three great-grandchildren, Ryleigh Simon, Kynsleigh Simon, and Hayleigh Simon, all of Beaumont, TX; nephew, Brian Keith Seastrunk (Kathy) of San Antonio, TX; special cousin, Mary Beaty of Jasper, TX; two goddaughters, La Greta Arrington of La Porte, TX, and Katy Pickens of Jasper, TX; special friends, Ella Franks, Judy Lynsey, and Anne Farr; and a host of other relatives and friends.
