Bobby Matthew Williams was born July 3, 1949, in Jasper, Texas, to Mable and Matthew Williams.

At an early age, Bobby was a member of the Moore Chapel C.M.E. Church.

Bobby attended and graduated from J.H. Rowe School in 1967. After High School, he joined the U.S. Navy where he served for nineteen years.

Upon returning home years later, Bobby was employed with Buck Springs Water.

Bobby spent the last 7 years of his life with his children in DeSoto, Texas.

Bobby was preceded in death by his parents, Mable and Matthew Williams; son, Tracy Williams; sisters, Annie Britten, Francis Kitchen, Eola McGee; brothers, Gene W. Milton, Don Rasberry, Howard Williams, Leroy Williams, Matthew Williams, Jr., Harry Williams, and Wesley Williams.

He leaves to cherish his memories his wife, Gloria Dell; daughters, Tarecia Smith (Robert), Tiffany Washington (Nick), and Tarmetra Williams; 20 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, all of DeSoto, TX; siblings, Lamerle Milton, Anniestene Mack, Dorothy Britten, and Lilly Wiliams; sister-in-law's, a plethora of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
