Obituary

Brandon Stefan McQueen was born on October 11, 1988, to Janette McQueen and Eugene Seale. He was raised in the Pineview Apartments community on Pollard Street in Jasper County, Texas, where he spent his childhood building friendships, creating memories, and developing bonds that would remain dear to his heart throughout his life.

Brandon received his early education in Jasper, Texas, and later attended Jasper High School, where he proudly graduated with the Class of 2008 as a Jasper Bulldog. Following graduation, Brandon answered the call to serve his country by enlisting in the United States Army, beginning a journey of service, dedication, and commitment.

From an early age, Brandon had a passion for football and enjoyed anything that involved friendly competition and physical contact. Some of his fondest memories were made playing football and spending time with his hometown friends. The bond he shared with his homeboys was more than friendship; it was a brotherhood built on loyalty, laughter, and countless unforgettable moments.

Above all, Brandon was a family man whose love for his children knew no bounds. He took great pride in being a father and treasured the special relationships he shared with each of his children. His family was one of his greatest blessings, and the love he had for them will forever remain a meaningful part of his legacy.

Brandon also shared an especially close and loving bond with his mother, Janette. No matter how old he became, he would always be her baby boy. Their relationship was filled with a love that words could never fully express, and the special place he held in her heart will remain forever.

Throughout his life, Brandon’s circle of family and friends continued to grow. He had a way of forming meaningful connections and leaving lasting impressions on those whose paths crossed his. Whether through shared laughter, childhood memories, or the simple joy of being together, Brandon touched many lives and created memories that will be cherished for years to come.

Brandon was preceded in death by his grandmother, Willist Hadnot; eldest sister, Chastie Simmons; uncles, Edward McQueen, Mark McQueen, and Kenneth McQueen; great-uncle, Hubert Hadnot; and cousins, Crystal Levette and Tamera Levette (Michael Levette, Jr.). He leaves to cherish his precious memories: his loving wife, Janice McQueen; special friend, Elisa Romero; beloved children, Jayda McQueen, Saniyah McQueen, Peytan McQueen, Bailey McQueen, Mia McQueen, ZarihaMcQueen, Leo McQueen, Breylan McQueen, Hezekiah McQueen, Quera McQueen, Lipsy McQueen, Laylah Ha ord, K.J., and Quan; bonus daughter, Janell Bean; and ve other bonus children. He also leaves to cherish his memory: his loving mother, Janette McQueen; father, Eugene Seale; sisters, Delandra Booker, Sydney Seale, Chassidy Seale, and Adrienne Seale-Barlow; and brother, Corey McQueen, Sr.

Brandon’s memory will forever be treasured by his best friends, Timothy Love and Vincent Martin, affectionately known as “Pooh,” along with a host of loving aunts, uncles, cousins, other extended family members, and dear friends.

He will be remembered as a beloved son, husband, father, brother, soldier, and friend. His presence will be deeply missed, but his legacy will live on through his children, his family, and everyone blessed to have known him.
