Obituary

Cameron O'Keith Collins was born on September 8, 2004, in Jasper, Texas, to Christopher K. Collins and Tamara Graham Butler.

Cameron was a resident of Kirbyville, Texas, where he attended school and was a proud 2024 graduate of Kirbyville Independent School District.

Cameron was preceded in death by his grandmother, Jessie F. Collins; great-grandparents, Obie Wright, Jessie Wright, L.C. and Justine Pleasant, and Donna L. McCormick; great-aunts, Lillie M. Harris, Denita Taylor, Karen Farr, Evie "Mickey" Pleasant, Annie Diggins, and Mary Ward; aunt, Kristie D. Collins Jackson; and uncle, Richard D. Graham.

Cameron, affectionately known as "Cam Bam" or "Tater Salad," had a love for television—sports, the Weather Channel, and movies were his passions. He could tell you everything happening in the NFL world—our very own "Mr. Sports Analyst."

If bad weather was approaching, "Mr. Weather Reporter" was ready to keep everyone updated. Cameron especially loved watching horror movies when he had someone to share them with, and he cherished riding the roads with his daddy—talking nonstop and enjoying every moment together.

His favorite NFL team was the Kansas City Chiefs.

Cameron leaves to cherish his precious memories: his father, Christopher Collins of Kirbyville, Texas; mother, Tamara Graham Butler (Jerry); siblings, Khalil Collins of Rowlette, Texas, Jeanette (Justin) Gilbert of Tennessee, and Lillian Collins of Kirbyville, Texas; grandparents, Roy L. (Tammy) Collins and Robert E. and Carol L. Graham, all of Call, Texas; great-aunts, Rosie (John) Bendy of San Diego, California, and Dorothy Coleman of Jasper, Texas; aunts, Tammy Collins, Stephanie Collins, LaDonna (Donnie) Gilley of Call, Texas, Amy Williams of Houston, Texas, and Lois Taylor of Lumberton, Texas.

He also leaves behind special buddies, Tim Andrews and Darryl Smith (Big Baby); special aunts, Debra Smith and LaDonna Smith; and a lifetime of fond memories shared with a host of other loving relatives and friends.
