Charles Hadnot Sr. was born to Herbert Hadnot and Naomi Hadnot Franklin on January 18, 1948. He departed his life on May 15, 2021.

He attended school at J H Rowe where he graduated as a member of the class of 1966.

He met and married Ella Lee Celestine. They joined Kings Chapel where he served on the deacon board. He loved his church, family, friends and playing dominoes.

He is preceeded in death by his wife, Ella Lee Hadnot; his parents, Herbert Hadnot and Naomi Hadnot Franklin; 5 sisters, Betty Faye Hadnot, Rachel Grant, Dorothy Seale, Audrey Peters, and Peggie Pittman; 2 brothers, Herbert Lee Hadnot Jr. and R. J. Hadnot.

He leaves to cherish his memories: a loving son, Charles Hadnot Jr.; stepsons, Ronnie Elam and James Elam Jr., all of Newton, Texas; special grandson, Raheem Hadnot; 4 sisters, Lottie (Willis) Pegues, Thelma Grant, Linda (Herbert) Barlow, all of Jasper, Texas, and Mary Porter of Newton, Texas; 1 brother, Hurbert (Eddie) Hadnot of Jasper, Texas; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
