Chastie Denise Brumley was born February 27, 1983 to Cheryl Brumley and Eugene Seale. She departed this earthly home on March 3, 2026.

Chastie attended Jasper Independent School District and graduated in 2001. She attended Texas Southern University for Business Administration in 2001 and Angelina College in Lufkin, Texas for CAN in 2015. She worked a variety of jobs including healthcare and business. She loved people and she loved the Lord. Her smile would light up any room she entered. She never met a stranger.

Chastie met and married the love of her life, Carlos Simmons on June 19, 2007. They were together for 25 years.

Chastie leaves to cherish her memories: a loving and devoted husband, Retired Army Veteran, Carlos D. Simmons; her mother, Cheryl Brumley; father, Eugene Seale; grandmother, Floy Brumley; mother-in-law, Lola Simmons (Emory); uncle, Lee Brumley (Patsy); 1st cousin, like sister, Champale Brumley Collins; sister -in-law, Sonya Townsend; brothers -n-laws, Corey Simmons, Reggie Simmons and James Simmons; God Parents, Martin & Melinda Smith and a host of other relatives and friends.
