CLARENCE TRAYLOR, SR., was born on May 29, 1950, to the late Harvey Traylor and Marie Clack in Newton County. He was one of six children.
Clarence was preceded in death by his parents and four siblings, Henery Lee, Anderson, Harvey Jr., and Curtis Ray.

Clarence attended Jamestown Elementary and Wiergate High School. Clarence later met and married the love of his life, Willie Mae Irvine. To this union, one child was born, Clarence Traylor, Jr. Clarence worked at Wiergate Lumber Company for many years. Clarence later went to work for Walmart and Newton Elementary.

Clarence was a member of West Chapel Baptist Church. Clarence leaves to cherish his memories: one son, Clarence Traylor, Jr. (Nikisha); one brother, Mark Traylor, Sr., one sister, Marie Traylor; two grandsons, Kendall Allen (Keisha) and Cortny Allen; one granddaughter, Kyla Hughey; two great-grandsons, Kyson and Braylen; other brothers and sisters; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
