Danita Jean was born November 28, 1968, in Kirbyville, TX, on Thanksgiving Day to the parentage of Kinzie and Norma Jean Sparrow who preceded her in death.

Danita grew up in the church and was baptized at an early age at the Mt. Moriah Baptist Church under the pastorage of the late Reverend John P. Kelley. She attended public school in the Kirbyville ISD and graduated high school in 1987. She later moved to Lufkin, TX, under the care of the Lufkin Adult Living Centers. She loved visits to home to spend time with the family and always wanted to know what we had sweet to eat during her visits. Her favorite was sweet potato pie.

On May 27, 2023, Danita earned her heavenly wings and was called home to be with her Lord and Master. We will miss her dearly and look forward to seeing her again in the heavenly home with Jesus.

She leaves to cherish her memories: her three sisters, Debra Samuel (Bobby), Cassandra Bradford (Bishop), and Aquilla Williamson; one brother, Kinzie Sparrow; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
