David Earl Farr was born on January 26, 1969 to Annie Farr and the late John D. Farr. He was the second born of four children raised in a loving Christian home. He received his education from the Jasper Independent School district. He was a graduate of the Jasper High School class of 1988.
David accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior and was baptized at an early age at the West Chapel Baptist Church under leadership of the late Reverend Boatner. As a youngster, David attended both West Chapel Baptist Church and the Rosebloom Baptist Church.
After graduation, David worked many years at Temple Inland and Boise & Cascade. David never met a stranger and made friends with people of all walks of life. He lived his life to the fullest. He was the life of any party or gathering. He was a true fan of his Dallas Cowboys Football. He met Melissa Cheatham and they were married for a season and lived in Arlington.
While he was seeking a closer relationship with the Lord he met a very special spiritual friend that began to minister to his soul, building an everlasting memory.
