Sis. Delsene Carter Harris was born on October 2, 1954 to the late Virgil and Betty Jo Diggles Carter. At a young age she lost her mother, but was raised by a loving stepmother, the late Janie B. Carter.

She married Sammie Adams in 1972 from which she was later separated. She met & married Donald Harris, whom she later separated. She was blessed with a daughter, Janie D'Ann Teal on March 9, 1983 who also blessed her with a grandson Mr. Ja'Korlyan Dantrell Garrett.

Delsene accepted Christ in her life and was a faithful member of Adams Chapel Memorial Church in Piney Woods.

She was preceded in death by her mother Betty Jo Diggles Carter, father Virgil Lee Carter, Step-mother Janie B. Mitchell Carter, daughter Janie D'Ann Teal, sister Willisteen Carter- Bass.

She leaves to celebrate her life grandson Ja'Korlyan D. Garrett, sister Regina Carter- Brooks, brother James B. Moye' (Marva), special aunt Kathy Greer (Kennedy), special uncle James Earl Carter, uncle LJ Carter (Vern) and uncle Lester Carter, god sister Littlene Cuney Adams (Perry), a very special friend Thomas Jefferson, and a host of nieces and nephews, family and friends.
