Dervin Anthony Kenebrew was born in Jasper, Texas, on January 21, 1964, the son of the late Frances Lee Twine and Edmond "Tiny" Perkins.

Dervin is survived by his daughter, Christina Kenebrew and grandson Perrier Taylor; sister, Carolyn Limbrick (husband, Anthony); brothers, Keith Kenebrew (wife, Marilyn), and Joe Twine (wife, Shirley); uncles, Elroy Kenebrew and Willie Kenebrew; aunts, Essie Mae Johnson, Johnnie Mae Curtis, Gloria Lewis, and Brenda Roebucks; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
