Destiny Reachell Thomas was born July 31, 1988, in Jasper, Texas, to the late ReOla Thomas and Carl Gilbert. She accepted Christ at an early age, while attending church with her grandmother.

Destiny was a 2006 Jasper High School graduate. She spent some time living in Houston, then settled in the Beaumont area.

She attended and graduated from Vista College with her LVN license. She was employed with the Medical Center of South East Texas.

In June of 2014, she welcomed the love of her life, Kallie Nia'Miyah Davis, into the world. She loved her more than life itself.

She was preceded in death by her parents, ReOla Thomas and Carl Gilbert.

Destiny leaves to cherish her memory: her beautiful daughter, Kallie; long-time companion, Kenneth Davis; loving grandmother, Annie Beaty; brother, Markeith Cauley; nephews, Mathew and Khamdyn; stepdad, Mark Cauley; and a host of aunts, uncles, other relatives, and friends.
