Dianne Sylvester was born on October 14, 1956 to Ruth Sylvester. She was the granddaughter to Philo and Herman Sylvester.

She received her formal education from Jasper High School in 1975 and furthered her education at Texas Southern University in Houston, Texas.

Dianne accepted Christ at New Hope Baptist Church in Jasper, Texas at an early age and was united with Canaan Baptist Church for many years.

She was employed by the City of Houston in the City Attorney Office as a Paralegal for many years. She was a member of Phi Alpha Delta Prelaw Fraternity.

Dianne Sylvester is proceded in death by her mother, Ruth Sylvester, her aunts and uncles, Anita Coger, Clifton Sylvester, Sr. Garfield Sylvester, Irma Jean Bell, Emma Lee Sylvester Castle, and Dorothy Mae Peacock.

She leaves treasured memories to her brother, Lloyd Sells Jr.; niece, Britney Sells; and a host of other family and friends.
