Dorice Eveline Peacock, known to many as (Doris Peacock) was born August 28, 1958 to the late Fred and Elzoria Peacock in Jamestown, TX.

She attended Jamestown Elementary and graduated from Burkeville High School, Class of 1976. She loved to sing so Choir was her Joy.

She was a member at the United Methodist Church. Later she united with the Iron Wheel Baptist Church under the leadership of Rev. James Gilford and was baptized. Seeking to fulfill God's journey. She was a devoted member of Iron Wheel & she loved her mission circle.

Dorcie attended Waco Junior College, Angelina Junior College and Lamar University to futher her education.

Dorcie was preceded in death by her parents, Fred and Elzoria Peacock; sister, Gwendolyn Peacock; brothers, James Curtis and Franke Lee Peacock.

She leaves to cherish her memories: brothers, Alvin Peacock, Thurman, Fred (Diane) Peacock of Port Author, Tx, Shirley Peacock-Jones of Portland, OR.; aunts, Annie Mae Traylor of Jamestown, Mildred Lewis of Beaumont, Lula Faye Coleman of Beaumont and a host of nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.
