Obituary

Edward Perkins "Ball Head" was born to the late Abe Lee Traylor Perkins and B.Z. Perkins on December 14, 1940. He accepted Christ at an early age and attended church in the Huff Creek Community when he was not working long hours at the Evadale Paper Mill, where he was employed for over 33 years, until retirement. Edward loved his family and shared it in his own way.

He was preceded in death by: his parents; his only child, Amy Perkins; three brothers, Jack, Nathaniel, and twin, Edmond Perkins; and two sisters, Bobby Peacock and Linda Mae Strahan Strahan.

He leaves to cherish his memories: a close cousin, Lillie D. Smith; his closest nephew, like a son, Stanly Perkins; a special young man he called his grandson, Larence "Big Daddy" Williams; niece Dildre and nephew whom he held dear in his heart, Kenneth Perkins; as well as a host of other nieces, nephews, cousins, other family, and friends.
