Eileen (Thomas) O'Hara was born November 21, 1947 to Edmon 'Toby' Thomas and Berdia Mae (Richard) Thomas in Newton, Texas. As a two-time cancer survivor, she found true rest August 25, 2021 in Nacogdoches, Texas. Eileen was born in Newton and attended school in Newton from primary through high school. She left in 1968 for West Palm Beach, FL. where she married her forever love of 53 years, Walter Lee O'Hara Sr. She and her family returned to her hometown in 1982 where she remained.

She was a loving, strong-willed woman. Anyone who knew her also knew that she was unquestionably a wonderful cook. Cooking was her passion as well as spending time with and caring for her family.

Eileen was preceded in death by her son Desmond Gerard O'Hara in 2013. Other loved ones preceding her in death: her parents Edmon and Berdia Mae Thomas, her bothers Linnon Ray 'Bobo' Thomas, and Howard Ray Thomas, and her sister Rosezene Bean.

Left to cherish her memories: her husband Walter Lee O'Hara Sr., children- Walter Lee O'Hara Jr. (Tasha), Michelle Roenette O'Hara (Sam), Cortney Angele (O'Hara) Hooper (Derrick),
brothers and sisters- Velma Ree Farr (Lawrence), Bobbie Bean, Raymond Earl Thomas Sr., Napolean Lee Thomas (Margaret), Jo Ann Scott (Alton), many precious grand and great grand children, nieces, nephews, cousins, and beloved friends.
