Obituary

Sister Ever Lee Larkin was born March 13, 1929, to the late RC Larkin and Sallie Franis Adams.

A lifelong resident of Jasper, Texas, Sister Ever Lee Larkin joined the church at an early age and was baptized. She was a loyal, dedicated, faithful member and mother of the church at Curtis Community House of Prayer under Pastor Raymond Blueitt, Sr., until her health failed. Her life story was a testimony; she loved God, church, family, and her friends. She would always say, "Be loving, be kind, and love one another; put God first and stay together as a family."

Sister Ever Lee was preceded in death by her father, RC Larkin; mother, Sallie Francis Adams; Hubert A. Mitchell; grandchildren, Elplas Zemlas Kenebrew and Jonathan Washington; great-grandchildren, Robert A. Larkin and Audrey N. Harrell; a son she called her own, Roy Gene Adams; and uncles and aunts she loved dearly.

She leaves to cherish her everlasting memories: her seven children, Sally Mitchell, Annette Kenebrew (Elroy), Eva Smith (Arthur), Mae Bell Johnson (Harry), Richard Larkin, Katherine Washington, and Patsy Smith; a son she called her own, Milton Paul Beaty; godbrother, David Preston Larkin of Jasper; godsister, Mildred Lewis of Jasper; godson, Harold Cauley of Jasper; 25 grandchildren, Katie, Gloria, Sharion, Michael, Derrick, Marie, Donald, Sandra, Cynthia, LaKeisha, Vivian, Steve, Carol, Tyrus, Meika, LaTasha, Jermaine, Kristi, Damion, Meoshia, Claretta, Jasmine, Changing, Sharaud, and Cedrick; 59 great-grandchildren; 57 great-great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
