Florence Fowler
Adams
Apr 27, 1952 — Jul 21, 2025
FLORENCE LOUISE ADAMS was born on April 27, 1952, to the parentage of Emerson Fowler and Arzola Mae Clark-Fowler in Jasper, Texas. She was raised in the Jamestown Community and received her education and diploma from Burkeville High School in 1970.
Florence was known as the peacemaker of the family. Whenever a birthday came, she would send the gift early, before it was time. She was always giving gifts to family and friends and sending cards for special occasions.
At an early age, Florence joined Pleasant Hill CME Church, where she sang in the choir. She later became a member of United Christian Fellowship under Rev. Charles Foster. She met and married Albert Lee Adams (Joe), and to this union, two sons were born, Richard Adams and Nicholas Adams (deceased). They were married for 54 years.
Jesus called Florence home on July 21, 2025, after 10:00 p.m. at her home. She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Nicholas Adams; and grandson, Taylor Adams.
She leaves to cherish her precious memories: her husband, Albert Lee Adams (Joe); son, Richard Adams (Sharon); grandchildren, Destiny Adams, Joshua Adams, and Timothy Adams; four great-grandchildren; sisters, Ola Mae Irvine (Ennis), Lessie Spikes, Bessie Adams, and Melinda Smith (Martin); and brother, Robert Fowler (Shirley). She also leaves nieces, nephews, and a host of other family and friends.
