Frankie Lee Rawls was born January 21, 1951, in Call, Texas, to the late Dora Lee and Willie Rawls. He was one of thirteen children. He was a graduate of Kirbyville High School. Frankie became a Christian at a very young age and was a member of the Pilgrim Rest Baptist Church in Kirbyville, until his health began to decline.

Frankie met and married Joan Marie Bean on February 6, 1976, which brought him much joy.

He was a man of few words, but a heart as big as Texas. He enjoyed spending time with family.

Frankie was preceded in death by his parents, Dora Lee and Willie Rawls; daughter, Buffy Rawls; grandson, Aston Dacus; and siblings, Bertha, Clyde, and Donald Ray.

He leaves to cherish his memories: his wife, Joan Marie Rawls; five children, Tandy (Bridget) Thomas, Blynthia Thomas, Krissy (Barrett) Adams, Jennifer (Gregory) Wright, and Jeannette (Sony) Ignacio; grandchildren, Kacye Adams, Kez Adams, Sonny Lee Ignacio, Jiselle Ignacio, Jezylynn Wright, and Abrielle Adams; sisters and brothers, Melba Rawls, Linda Rawls, Janice Rawls, Dorthy Rawls, Mary Rawls, Janet Rawls, Harold Rawls, and Billie Rawls; special nephew, Lonnie Bean, Jr.; and a host of other nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
