Gloria Lavine Sylvester Adams was born on October 3, 1958 to Pauline Sylvester and Bobby White Sr. in Newton, Tx.

Gloria attended Newton Elementary School where she graduate as a class of 1977. She work Shady Aces until her health fail.

She accepted Jesus Christ as her early age was baptized at Cow Creeks in Newton, Tx Joined King Chapel CME later she moved to Jasper, Tx went to Moore Chapel CME church then removed her member back to King Chapel CME church.

Gloria met and married Lewis Edward Adams Sr. to this union one son were born Edwards Jarrell Adams, Jasper, Tx.

Gloria exited this life on Saturday, October 2, 2021 at 12:00am afternoon at St. Elizabeth Baptist Hospital Beaumont, Tx.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Pauline Sylvester and Bobby White Sr.; sister, Myriel Sylvester; special sister, Louise Mattox; and brothers, Nathaniel Harriel, Larry White, and Ricky White.

She leaves to cherish her memory: son, Edwards J. Adams of Jasper, TX; Granddaughter Hailey Adams of Conroe, TX; brothers, James Sylvester of Houston TX, Bobby (Teresa) White Jr. of Garland, TX, Chris White, and William (Katrina) Moore, all of El Dorado, Arkansas; sisters, Cynthia Thomas of Tomball, TX, Freida (Freddie) Prater Jr. of Newton, TX, Brenda (Woody) Gatewood of El Dorado, Arkansas, and Jeannie (James) Furlow of El Dorado, Arkansas; a special cousin, Leroy (Angie) Ward of Jasper, TX, her best/special friends, Denise Kenbrew and Carolyn Brown of Beaumont, TX, and Joann (Alto) Scott; special sister, Debra Hunter; and host nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
