Gregory Lamar "Peter" "Duck" Audrey was born on March 8, 1963, in Pineland, Texas, to Joe Ann Driver and the late Dave Young. Peter resided in Beaumont, Texas. He was the second of four children.

"Peter," as he was affectionately known, grew up in Pineland, Texas, and was baptized at Evergreen Baptist Church at an early age. He attended and graduated from West Sabine High School. He was a great athlete and played football, basketball, and baseball. He attended Angelina College to pursue a degree in welding. Gregory was a friendly, loving, carefree, and fun individual, who touched the hearts of many.

He leaves to cherish in his memory: one son, Damien Price, Jr., of Tyler, Texas; three grandchildren, Madison Price, Damien Price, Jr., and Jordan Price of Nacogdoches, Texas; his mother, Joe Ann Driver (James) of Pineland, Texas; siblings, Kara Broussard of Beaumont, and Mona Audrey and Paul Audrey (Kathy) of League City, Texas. Peter had a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
