At an early age, he attended Bethlehem Baptist Church. He played football for Jasper ISD, until he graduated. As a child, he always would be working on something from cell phones to cars. Last but not least, he was a great father who loved his son.

He was preceded in death by his dad, James Price, Sr.; great-grandmother, Vertie Kyles; John G. and Johnnie Reliford; and godbrother, Nicholas McBride.

James leaves to cherish his memories: his mother, Cassandra Price; son, Caelon Price; sister, Tiftany Johnson and three brothers, James Johnson, LaSedryc Williams, and Ashton.
