Jamie Rodell Twine was born in Jasper, Texas on March 26, 1975, the son of the late Frances Lee Twine and the late Arcell Armstrong.  He was the youngest of five children ("the baby") born to Frances.

Jamie attended public schools in Jasper, joined The Greater New Bethel Baptist Church at an early age, played high school football, was the president of the junior church choir, and begin cutting hair as a "side hustle".

Jamie is survived by his three children, Jamari Twine, Jasmine Twine, and Jamaya Twine; his expected grandson; special loved ones, Erica Fuller and her daughter Erielle; sister, Carolyn Limbrick (husband Anthony); brothers Keith Kenebrew (wifeMarilyn), Dervin Kenebrew, Joe Twine (wife Shirley), and Marcell Collins; uncles Elroy Kenebrew, and Willie Kenebrew; aunts Essie Mae Johnson, Johnnie Mae Curtis, Gloria Lewis and Brenda Roebuck; and a host of other nephews, nieces, and friends.
