On February 6, 1941, the Lord sent John Eddie and Lucy Davis Limbrick a special surprise; he sent them Jessie Carl Limbrick Sr. He was one of thirteen children raised in the Westlake Community of Jasper. At an early age, Jessie accepted Christ as his personal Savior and attended Westlake Baptist Church in Jasper, Texas where he began his lifelong spiritual journey. He remained a devoted and active member throughout his lifetime. He served on the deacon board, attended Sunday school and prayer meetings weekly. Deacon was always a willing vessel. Jessie held firmly to the promised found in Psalm 23. Jessie began working at a young age and was a firm believer in Work. He worked at the Chicken Factory as a manager for many years before finding his entrepreneurship in his own construction business. Jessie married Jeanett Jones and to the union, five children were born. He later married Joyce Brooks and to the union, two children were born. He later married Helen Anderson and to the union one child was born. Jessie enjoyed spending time with family, animals and fishing. He took pride in serving as the president of the Westlake Cemetery President. He could always be found helping his community. He was known for his annual hayrides that he put on for the kids of the Westlake and surrounding communities of Jasper Texas.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Lucy and John Eddie Limbrick; sister, Jacqueline Limbrick; brothers, Albert Limbrick Sr., Thomas Limbrick and George Limbrick; two grandchildren, Alexis Limbrick and Adarius Limbrick. Jessie was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, uncle, brother, mentor, friend and faithful church member.
