Mrs. Jewel E. Howard of Call, Texas passed on June 22, 2026. She was born on May 4, 1938, in Silsbee, Texas, to the late Arvie and Essie Mae Hamilton.

Jewel met and married the love of her life, Mr. Ezra L. Howard, and to this union five beautiful children were born: Kenny, Sonja, Harlean, Gail, and Erin.

She was baptized at a young age and later joined and became a very faithful member of Antioch Missionary Baptist Church in Call, Texas. Jewel was blessed and highly favored by the Lord, a god-fearing women with a good stewardship in Christ. She was indeed about
the Father's business and never dropped the baton but stayed in her lane and ran the race faithfully.

Jewel was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and her siblings, Leon Hamilton, Raymond Hamilton, Nettie Mae Garrett, and Gloria.

She leaves a wonderful legacy to her five children, Kenny Hamilton (Sandra) of Silsbee, TX, Sonja Howard of Jasper, TX, Harlean Howard of Beaumont, TX, Gail Carter (Elredge) of Jasper, TX, and Erin Howard of Beaumont, TX; one sibling, Seawilla Armstrong of
Jasper, TX; five grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren; and a host of loving church family, nieces, nephews, other family, and friends that loved her dearly.
