Johnny Alfred was born to Lorene Wingate and Elzie Alfred Jr. on December 18, 1940 in Honey Island Texas.

He loved fishing, gardening, and cooking.  He was a good handyman, he played guitar and was a chairman of the deacon bord. He also love watching westerns.

Proceeding him in death; his parents, Lorene & Elzie Alfred; son, Lonnie Alfred and grandson, Lesley Johnson.

He leaves to cherish is memories, his wife of 52 years, Laverne; son, Michael Alfred; brothers, Clint (Willie Mae) Alfred and J.D. Alfred; sister, Odester Rosemon; 7 grandkids, Lonyekia Myers, Brandon Jhnson, Isaiah Myers, Kendal Joiner, Ashley Wagner, Kendrick Johnson, Andrew Alfred and 9 great-grandkids.
