Mrs. Joyce Marie Williams, known by many as "B.B", died peacefully at Christus St. Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont, TX on December 1, 2023.

She was born in Orange, TX on July 29, 1955, to Smiley Crossley (deceased) and Lula Mae Grant (deceased). She was raised in Pineland, TX by adopted mother, Annie Bell Coleman (deceased), but called Shankleville, TX home until she moved to Jasper, TX

She was born to 4 brothers, James Carroway (deceased), Lee Hamilton, Roy Crossley, Nathaniel Crossley, and a sister, Hazel Grey (deceased). She had 4 sons, De'Andre Coleman birthname, Bobby Lang, who preceded her in death; and survived by Aurelious Grosely, 48; Christopher Kyles, 41; Willie Williams Jr., 40; and daughter, Sylvia Carter, 39; plus a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Joyce never met a stranger and invited many into her home. She was the type of person who would give you the shirt off her back and always made sure you had a hot meal to eat. Many kids have and do call her mom. She had a heart of gold and would do anything in the world for you. She had a smile and a laugh that would light up a room. She was not a stranger to the Bible. She would stay up late reading scripture. In youth, she played the piano in church and sung exceptionally well. When she wasn't laughing or joking, she had lots of wisdom and encouragement to bestow unto you. She was indeed a child of God. When she wasn't following her kids in sports or other activities, she enjoyed traveling and playing cards or dominoes. She was quite a whiz at both.
