JUSTEAN Ross was born on February 2, 1935 to Chafe and Inie Samuel in Bon Wier Tx. She had a love for her family and people. She would start her morning off with her coffee and the reading of her Bible at four in the morning. She would keep a clean house and an organized life and she made it seem so easy, but as we grew up, we realize that you have to work hard as she did to perfect the right way .one of her calling’s was being a great wife and mother. A mother of five, she was the best! Paul Junior, Pam, Inia, Liza and Marvis.

 She worked with special needs as her occupation, which represented her patience, love and generosity. I remember one of her students wanting to spend the night with us and he did. That was in the 70s. Our mother was also a motivator in everything she did. She organized a social and civic club with a group of ladies and called it the Montezuma social and civic club with a pink rose as a symbol. Her club brought out meaning in the lives of each member of her club. They were busy helping others, organizing the towns’ parades, giving scholarships to students and ongoing activities. She was also a happy person and looking out for other’s needs no matter what she went through.

 Her life represented PERSERVERENCE. Always going that extra mile. She leaves her legacy with her family and hopefully anyone that has crossed her path, that they will continue in the right direction. “Determination, a willing spirit and always trusting and putting God first place in your life “.

 Her favorite scripture was Psalm 121 “I will lift up my eyes unto the hills from which cometh my help, my help cometh from the Lord, which made heaven and earth “.
