Obituary

Lee Ester Burham was the youngest of eight children of James and Arvetta Owens Burnham. He was born February 2, 1945, in the Liberty Community of Newton, Texas. Lee loved the Lord. He was a faithful member of the Westside Church of Christ until his health failed.

Lee graduated from Kerr High School. He worked at the Newton Lumber Company, the Wiergate Saw Mill, and Kirby Plywood before retiring after
twenty-seven years with Louisiana Pacific.

Lee met and married the love of his life, Rosebud Johnson Burnham, on September 5, 1972.

Lee enjoyed all sports. He was a football, basketball, and baseball analyst. He could tell you everything you needed to know about what the team needed to win.

Lee was preceded in death by his parents and seven siblings, Jimmy Lee Burnham, Cornie Fowler, Opal Mae Small, Annie Mae Mosley, Ivada Flemons, Bertha Lee Byerly and John D. Burnham.

He leaves to cherish his everlasting memories: his loving wife of fifty years, Rosebud Johnson Burnham; one son, Samuel Lee Burnham (Sabrina); three daughters, Marion Lee Eberhardt (Wendell), Gloria Ann Burnham, and Alison Burnham; six grandchildren, Israel, India, Diamond, Jewel, Jabari, and Imani; special cousins, Grover Burnham, Sr., Ethel Neal, Marylon Byrd, and Frances Daniels; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
