Linda Beck, born on September 19, 1950 in Newton, Texas to mother, Bertie Mitchell, and father, Wilson Beck, grew up in the Liberty Community and was the youngest child of nine.

Linda was regularly active in the Liberty Community and loved to use her voice to glorify God. She also loved to play softball. Linda's love for the community will be greatly missed.

She is preceded in death by both parents and brothers, Solomon Bryant, Nathan Beck, Willie Bryant, Bobby Smith, and Larry Smith.

She leaves to cherish her memory: two sons, Phillip Travis and Bobby Bass, both of Newton; sister, Betty Smith of Fort Worth; a host of nieces, nephews, grandkids, and great-grandkids; special brother, Elmer "Pepper" Berry; and a very special friend, Sandra Freeman and Jessie Haywood.
