Mack Chester Chaney was born to the late Byretha Grimes and Aurther Chaney on October 22, 1941, in Newton County, Texas.
Mack was graduate of Wiergate High School. He met and married the love of his life, Joann. To this union, four children were born: Harry, Eric, Fredrick, and Judy.
He made the Lord his Lord and Savior at an early age and continued to serve the lord until his health begin to fail.
Mack loved to cook. You could always find a meal when he was around.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Byretha Grimes and Auther Chaney; wife, Joann Chaney; son, Fredrick Chaney; and brother, Frank Chaney.

He leaves to cherish his memories: sons, Harry Cauley (Tanya) and Eric Chaney (Wanda), both of Grand Prairie, Texas; daughter, Judy Cauley of Jasper; brothers, George Chaney and Benson; sisters, Della Hill, Betty Ardoin and Tanzie Fowler; granchildren, Katrina Winn, La'Tosha Mayfield, Justine Hearn, Kendrick Mayfield, Joshua Johnson, Jeremy Cauley, Jazmine Perkins and Vincent Westberg; great great , Daria Green, Taylor Mayfield, Joshia Johnson, Harmony Cauley, Heaven Cauley, Amar'e Perkins, Macahya Cauley; great-great, Indya and Jaxon Moran and a host of other relatives and friends.
