Obituary

MAE ELLA THOMAS was born August 15, 1939, in Magnolia Srings, Texas, to the late Rufus and Lodessa Kyle. Born and raised in Magnolia Springs, she was educated at the Walnut Hill School. She was very good in basketball.

She accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior at an early age.

In 1955, she married the love of her life, Jessie Thomas, and to this union, three children were born, Brenda, Patricia "Pat," and Jessie Andrae "Sonny." Mae Ella was a housewife who enjoyed every minute of it. She enjoyed cooking for her family and the community. She loved fishing. Mae Ella was able to go fishing last year at our Thomas Family Reunion. She was so excited.

Mae Ella was a member of the Greater Oldfield Church of God in Christ. She loved to praise and worship God. She attended church until her health declined, but she made sure she paid her tithes. Mae Ella loved her family and friends. She wanted to make sure her family knew the Lord. She would always say, "I got to tell you what is right, whether you want to hear it or not."

On Monday, October 19, 2020, Mae Ella made her transition from this earthly life to heaven. She is preceded in death by her parents;
and her siblings, Elder Autry Kyle, Sherman Kyle, Marthella Hopkins, W.L. Harris, Shirley Thompson, and Evelyn Cooper.
