Marilyn Renee (Cooper) Samuel was born to Leonard Ray Cooper, Sr., and Ruthie Mae Cooper on October 17, 1960, in Kirbyville, Texas. She dedicated her life to Christ at an early age.

She was preceded in death by her parents and siblings, Jo Ellen Cooper, Willard Gene Cooper, and Steve Ronald Cooper.

Marilyn attended Kirbyville High School and went on later to obtain her GED. She then wed Kimmie Ray Samuel, Sr., of Bon Weir, Texas. Thereafter, they became parents to Terance (Latasha) of Magnolia Springs, Kimberly of Silsbee, Natosha of Magnolia Springs, and Kimmie Jr. (Misty) of North Carolina.

Marilyn had a passion for shopping, but more so enjoyed spending time with and spoiling her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was a nurturer who cared deeply for others and their well-being, always offering support and encouragement.

She leaves to cherish her loving memories to her husband, children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, siblings, nieces and nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends.
