Mark Steven McQueen was born to Willist A. Hadnot and the late George Edward McQueen on June 12, 1960 in Jasper, Texas. He graduated from Jasper High School in 1979. He joined the United States Army soon after. He was a very hard worker for many years. He worked for East Texas Construction until he became ill.

Preceded him in death, his father, George Edward (Hank) McQueen; his brothers, Edward Jerome McQueen, Kenneth Wayne McQueen Darren D. McQueen and his life partner, Mae Jessie Latson.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his mother, Willist A. Hadnot; his brother, Donald Dean McQueen; sisters, Willie Sue McQueen, Kathleen McQueen (Kave), Sharon Denise Brown (Larnell), Jean Levette of Houston, TX, Jeanette McQueen and Lisa Ann McQueen (Michael Kimble); stepson, Paul Gill; stepdaughter, Patrina Wade (Jarl); grandkids, Jasmyne (Ma'Kahlyn) Hafford, TaBraja Bean (J'Leigh, Nylan, Noah) of Temple, TX; Trey and Taye Moran; nephew of the armed forces, Jayden Cade and a host of nephews, nieces, great nephews, great nieces and other relatives and friends.
