Obituary

Marolynn Denise White was born on August 31, 1960, in Woodville, Texas, to Jimmie Doris Hadnot and George Lee White. Marolynn attended Kiby High School graduating in 1979. She spent most of her adult years in Jasper, Texas.

At an early age, Marolynn accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior. Her passion was to fulfill the calling that God had on her life. She truly loved God and the church. She never allowed her situation to make her bitter. She served as Sunday school teacher, working with the youth and working and serving in the kitchen. Marolynn was a faithful member and was always a willing vessel. She was a long-time member of the Faith Temple COGIC for 30 plus years under Bishop Ray C. Lewis until her move to Lufkin, TX. She lived by the words of the Bible and her faith is what she stood on.

Marolynn was blessed with one daughter, Tamela, who she loved dearly.

In 2011, Marolynn moved to Lufkin, Texas, where she united with Bishop Cleo Hale's church and continued to fulfill her passion to serve the Lord, until her health started to decline.

On May 31, 2023, a decision was made to place her on hospice where she would spend the remainder of her life in the care of her daughter, Tamela. She remained faithful unto the Lord and always wanted the day to be Sunday.

Marolynn touched many lives while she was here; a lot of those people started to call her "mom" as well. She
was a living testimony to many and enjoyed telling her story of how the Lord made a way for her.

She was preceded by her parents, Jimmie Doris Hadnot and George Lee White; and brother, Joe Earl Blackmon.

Marolynn leaves to cherish her memories: daughter, Tamela Hafford; special daughters, Stephanie Daniels,
Juwanna Roberts, Resheeka Douglass, and Josephine Johnson; three living brothers, Jerry Hadnot (Maribel),
Lester Mitchell (Ertha), and John Rigsby; grandchildren, Timmy, Nevaeh, Heaven, Starr, Skye, and Emily; special
sister, Regina Lewis, and Kaye McQueen; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
