Mary Lee (Wingate) Ashworth, 81 born January 4, 1940, in Bancroft, Louisiana to mother, Hattie B. Alfred and father, Cecile Wingate. She grew up in Bleakwood, Texas. She was a faithful member of Biloxi, CME Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Carrie Lee Myer; husband, J.C. Ashworth; stepson, Gerry O. Ashworth; and granddaughter, Leslie Hunter Mathis.

She leaves to cherish her memories her children; Walter J. Hunter (Latisha), Billy R. Hunter (Linda), and Mary L. Jackson. Stepdaughters, Sandra Hunter, Brenda Diggles, Minnie Tyler (Greg), Vanessa Hubbard, and Ocie Ashworth (Gerry). Niece, Martha Sue Myers. Twenty-seven grandchildren, and a host of great-grandchildren.
