Nora Lee Shelby Middleton was born September 6, 1928 to the late Eddie and Selonia Shelby of Roganville, Texas. Nora attended J. H. Rowe in Jasper, Tx.

Nora met and married B Middleton in 1947, and to this union eight children was born.

On February 5, 2020 after a lengthy illness, God called her home to eternal rest. She was preceded in death by her parents: Eddie and Selonia Shelby; stepfather: Birty Hadnot Sr.; brothers: Cleveland, Garfield, and Harding Shelby, and Walter Hadnot,;sisters: Elmora Harris, Gertrude Hafford, Eddie Mae Rawls, Bethel Edwards, and Martha Smith; her oldest daughter: Margaret Middleton Glenn; her stepson: Gene Weldon Milton Sr.; two grandsons: LeAnthony Middleton, and Patrick Middleton.

She leaves to cherish her precious memories a brother: Birty Hadnot Jr.; four sons: B Middleton Jr (Heather), Scott Middleton (Lisa), Alfred Middleton (Courtney), Billy Middleton; three stepsons: Phillip Jones, and Dennis Johnson both of Jasper, Tx, and Bobby Mosley (Betty) of San Augustine, TX; three daughters: Arlethia Middleton and Gloria Armstong both of Lancaster, Tx; Peadrice Hafford (Raymond); three stepdaughters: LaMarle Milton of Jasper, TX, Katherine Randall, and Willie Carroll both of Houston, TX. Over fifty (50) grand-children, over forty (40) great grand-children. A host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
