A quiet and peaceful life came to a end May 27, 2021 at Harbor Hospice for Mr. Norise Howard.

Bro. Norise Howard was born June 18, 1935 to the late George and Pearl Lee Shoulder Howard. He joined Antioch Missionary Baptist Church at an early age. Bro Howard was a very active member of the Antioch Baptist Church . He served as deacon, Sunday School Superintendent, President of Building Fund, Bus Driver for the church, and the Antioch Usher board going to Congress and Association. He was President of the Call Community Cemetery for 42 years and the lawn man for the Antioch Church and Call Cemetery.

He was preceded in death father and mother, five brothers and two sisters.

He leaves to mourn his passing: his wife of 60 years, Jean Pearl Shelby Howard; three children, Felicia and Wendell of Call, Texas and Terson Howard of Dallas, Texas; two grandsons; Braylon Linnear of Kay, Texas and Tyler Sneed Howard of Dallas, Texas; one brother, Jermany Lee Howard (Madonna) of Canada; Evie Smith Kelly of Jasper; and a host of brother in laws, sister in laws, nephews, nieces, other relatives, and friends.
