Odester Rosemon was born on October 8, 1944, in Bleakwood, Texas, to the late Elijah and Lorine Alfred. She later met and married Jesse L. Rosemon, Sr., and to this union three children were born.

Odester joined Biloxi C.M.E. Methodist Church at an early age, where she remained an active and faithful member until her health declined.

She was preceded in death by one sister and five brothers.

She leaves to cherish her memory: three children, Tina Rosemon; Jesse Rosemon, Jr. (Jareda) of Kirbyville, Texas; and Larry Rosemon (Vanessa) of Texas City, Texas; two brothers, Clint Alfred (Willie Mae) of Bleakwood, Texas, and Walter Alfred (Theresa) of Newton, Texas; along with a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
