Patricia Ann
Johnson
May 12, 1961 — Sep 13, 2020
Jasper
Patricia Ann Johnson was born on May 12, 1961, in Alexandria, Louisiana. She was born to Ella Mae Goff and Joseph Guillory.
Patricia attended school at Palmetto High School in Palmetto, Louisiana, where she graduated in 1979.
Patricia was taught to love the Lord at an early age. She was a member of Christ Gospel in St Laundry, Louisiana, where she was later baptized by Pastor Walter Jones. Growing up in Louisiana, Patricia later decided it was time for a change and relocated to Jasper, Texas. In relocating to Jasper, she was able to meet her husband, Donald Ray Johnson. Together, they shared two daughters Shemika and JoyDac'ia, and three sons Johnathan, Jakelen, and Carlmellow, whom they love dearly. Patricia and Donald also took over the care of their niece Chelsea and nephews Donald and Kelsey.
Having a kind spirit, Patricia served as a nurse at Texas Home Health for 22 years. She devoted her life to God and served Him purely. On Saturday mornings, she even played her quartet gospel music through her home. There was nothing Sister Patricia loved more than worshipping her Lord with her husband, Donald. She kept God first in everything she did, but she truly loved her husband and family.
Until she went to get her crown, she attended Faith Temple COGIC under the leadership of Pastor Ray C Lewis and First Lady Janett Lewis. Sister Patricia will always be remembered by her warm spirit, genuine love, and kind heart.
Patricia is preceded in death by her parents, Ella Mae Goff and Joseph Guillory; sisters, Winnie Harris and Mary Marie Silas; and four brothers, Nathaniel Williams, Timothy Goff, Lionell Guillory, and Larry Guillory.
She leaves to mourn: her husband of 29 years, Donald Ray Johnson; three sons, Johnathan R. Johnson, Jakelen D. Johnson, and Carlmellow O. Johnson; daughters, Shemika S. Britton and JoyDac'ia J. Johnson; grandson, Glen D. Barlow; granddaughter, Roz'Lynn S.
