Ray William Beaty was Born October 2, 1959 to William Oscar Beaty (who preceded him in death) and Mary Armstrong Beaty.

Ray attended and graduated Jasper High School in 1978. Growing up he attended Armstrong Memorial C.M.E. Church. Later in life, he moved away and worked construction jobs, but he found his way back to Jasper where he resided until his homegoing.

Ray was loved and cared for by his mother and his family.

One brother, Raymond Earl Beaty, preceded him in death.

Ray leaves behind to morn him his mother, Ms. Mary Armstrong Beaty; a brother, Charles Love; and a sister, Mineola Marshall along with their families. There are uncles, aunts, nephews, nieces, and cousins that he loved; they will remember him with love and affection. He had a host of friends that he thought were special because they spent time with the "Old Dude".
