Raybon Jewel Hunt was born on December 24, 1942, in Brookeland, Texas, to Murtha Mitchell Hunt and George Hunt.

Raybon enjoyed many things in life. Among his favorites were fishing and visiting the casino. He also had a love for basketball and was known to be a great basketball player. Raybon worked at Temple Inland in Pineland, Texas, where he dedicated many years of service before retiring.

Raybon is survived by his wife, Annie Hunt; children, Bettina Hunt-Nance, Marcus Hunt, Jarray Hunt, Chriselda Cuyar, and Alonzo Johnson; grandchildren, Delaney Hunt and Julian Hunt; siblings, Sheila Sample and Edward Hunt; and a host of nephews, nieces, other relatives, and friends.
